Naming Opportunities for the Music and Communication Building
On the southeastern edge of Northwestern’s Evanston campus, a beautiful new signature home for the Bienen School of Music and the School of Communication is now taking shape.
Goettsch Partners masterfully designed the 152,000 square foot, five-story building, which will provide state-of-the-art classroom, teaching, and administrative space. Primary space in the facility will include a 2,400 square foot choral rehearsal/recital room, a 150-seat opera rehearsal room/black box theater, and a 400-seat recital hall with stunning views of the lake and the Chicago skyline. A large atrium will greet those entering the building, offering views of the lake to the east, and the new Arts Green to the West. Connecting the Arts Circle to the lakefront, the Arts Green will provide students ample outdoor space for collaboration, study, and relaxation.
