NU Faculty and staff are invited to foundation grant-seeking clinics on May 7th Evanston and May 18th in Chicago

Northwestern University's Office of Foundation Relations cordially invites you to a drop-in clinic on foundation grant-seeking. These clinics are designed particularly for early-career faculty who are interested in learning more about best practices in securing research or project funding from private foundations (e.g., Spencer Foundation, Ford Foundation, Chicago Community Trust). Research professionals who work directly with faculty seeking funding are also invited.
Friday May 7th, noon-2 pm, Norris Center Wildcat Room, Evanston Campus
Tuesday May 18th, noon-2 pm, Lake Shore Conference Room, 9th Floor of the Rubloff Building (750 N. Lake Shore Drive), Chicago Campus
Clinic services include the following:
* conduct a preliminary search for possible funders for your research or project
* respond to your draft letter of inquiry or pre-proposal
* take information on your project for further research
* address any questions you may have about getting foundation and corporation support
Foundation relations staff will be available to help you on a drop-in or appointment basis. To arrange a fifteen-minute appointment with one of our staff, please email or call Kali Blanchard (k-blanchard@northwestern.edu; 847 491-4590). Please forward this invitation to others who may be interested in attending, especially early-career faculty.
Please stop by on May 7th or 18th to meet us, have a cup of coffee and a cookie, and find out more about the possibilities of getting foundation funding for your work.
