2009-2010 Young Alumni Gift Reaches Record Participation!

On August 31, 2010 the Young Alumni Gift exceeded its 2009-2010 goal of having 2,800 young alumni participants. In return, the Trustee Challengers made their final $75,000 contribution to Northwestern on behalf of the young alumni. Thank you to all those who participated for your support and congratulations on a job well done!

With $275,000 in donations and $150,000 from the Trustee match, young alumni support was critical in securing over $425,000 for Northwestern. The 2,826 young alumni who contributed represent an increase of 11% over last year’s results. Check out the below graph to see how your class stacked up to the other young alumni classes:

This significant growth in young alumni support to Northwestern from all classes will allow the school to invest more resources in curricula enhancement, student programming, and faculty retention in the coming year. Keeping these areas strong is crucial to Northwestern’s success.
