Fiscal Year-End Deadlines

Northwestern’s Fiscal Year 2025 closes Sunday, August 31, 2025.
To ensure your gift counts for fiscal year 2025, please follow these deadlines:

Online:

• Give through our online giving form
• Deadline: 11:45 p.m. (CDT), Sunday, August 31, 2025
  
  

By Mail:

• Checks must be dated and postmarked by August 31, 2025
• Mail to:

Securities or Wire Transfers:

• Must be completed and received by NU by close of business, Friday, August 29, 2025
• Donors and brokers should plan transfers accordingly

Northwestern Fiscal Year and Related Recognition

Northwestern’s fiscal year is from September 1 through August 31. Annual Giving recognition, as well as recognition in the NU Loyal and Northwestern University Leadership Circle (NULC) giving societies, correspond to Northwestern’s fiscal year.
