Celebrating the 2025 Northwestern Alumni Medalists

Alumni Medalists
T. Bondurant French, Michael D. Greenberg, Barbara Stewart, and Judith Toland

Four distinguished alumni received the 2025 Northwestern Alumni Medal, the Northwestern Alumni Association’s highest honor. During Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, the University recognized T. Bondurant French ’75, ’76 MBA (’07, ’21 P); Barbara Stewart ’85, ’95 MBA; Michael D. Greenberg ’89 (’23, ’25 P); and Judith Toland ’94 for the contributions they have made in their careers and communities.

Dedicated to their alma mater, all four alumni are members of NU Loyal—Toland and Stewart are gold-level members, and French and Greenberg are platinum-level members.

The Northwestern Alumni Medal celebrates alumni who have made a transformative impact on their fields, performed exemplary volunteer service to society, and demonstrated an outstanding record of service and support to the University.

The latest recipients join a select group of more than 100 Medalists—ranging from innovative entrepreneurs and Supreme Court justices to award-winning writers and a Nobel Prize recipient —who have been honored since 1932.
