The New York Alumni Relations and Development team helps to build connections and strengthen engagement with campus through events and volunteerism. By bringing University leadership and faculty to the region, we discover and inspire support for the University’s initiatives.

Northwestern alumni, students, parents, and friends in the metropolitan region comprise the University’s largest community outside of Chicago. Home to more than 20,000 alumni, Northwestern New York is a vibrant network that continues to grow, with 10–15 percent of each undergraduate class hailing from the tristate area and approximately 300 graduates moving to the region annually.
